Action list and improvement cards

Improvement cards find your site's weak points in real data and arrive every morning in the form "fact → cause → suggested fix." How to read them, and where to start.

Updated: Sep 2, 2026

What improvement cards are

They’re the core feature of NextRise. Overnight, we sweep the whole site’s numbers and build cards in the form “fact → cause → suggested fix,” with real product names, page names, and numbers.

Mobile shoppers buy at a lower rate (4.3% vs. 13.8% on desktop), and page weight may be one cause

Est. recovery ~¥572,008/mo (assumes 30% recovered)

Suggested fix Start by making your heavy mobile pages (/ and others) lighter (compress images, remove unused JS/CSS). You can find the target pages on the Speed tab.

Cards line up under “Actions to grow revenue” on the right, sorted by amount (☆ shows priority). The Action list button at the top gives you the full list and lets you filter by type (Fix / Opportunity).

How to read a card

PartWhat it says
HeadlineThe fact found (with numbers) and the likely cause
Fix / OpportunityFix = you’re losing something. Opportunity = grow something that’s already working
Priority (from the amount and how certain it is)
AmountOne of three kinds: estimated recovery / scale / change. They mean different things, so be sure to read Reading the amounts
Suggested fixWhat to do. Start with the first item

What kinds of cards appear (examples)

  • CVR differences by device (mobile is low → speed, checkout path)
  • Drop-off at a funnel stage (cart → checkout pass-through fell)
  • Slow × high-revenue pages
  • Channels with high AOV (email is 2.8× → shift sends and budget there)
  • Cross-sells (buyers of product A also buy product B → bundles, recommendations)
  • Products viewed a lot but rarely bought
  • New vs. returning differences, skews by day of week and hour
  • Best sellers close to running out of stock (only on platforms where stock is available)

The cards that appear are only those with evidence in that site’s real data. Smaller sites get fewer cards, but we never show generic advice without evidence.

When cards are updated

  • We sweep every night (after midnight in the site’s time zone), and new cards are lined up the next morning.
  • A card that appears three nights in a row becomes a candidate for follow-up.
  • From the Action list button, you can also re-run the sweep on the spot (it aggregates the whole site by each dimension, so it takes a few dozen seconds).

Where to start

  1. Among the Fix cards with an estimated recovery, start with the largest amount.
  2. Do only the first item in the suggested fix to begin with.
  3. Once you’ve done it, press “Mark as done” at the bottom of the details (follow-up runs even if you don’t, but pressing it resets the starting point to “the day you pressed it”).

No differences between plans

The kinds of cards and the number of cards don’t change with your plan. The only difference is the monthly session allowance.
