Docs Set up tracking

Colorme Shop

Add the app from the Colorme Shop App Store and both the order import and the tracking tag setup start automatically. You do not need to edit your design template.

Updated: Sep 5, 2026

What happens

On Colorme Shop, all three of these are handled by adding the app and granting access.

  • Importing orders — orders are read and used for revenue, AOV, and per-product sales. Cancelled orders are excluded.
  • Installing the tracking tag — the tag is placed on your shop pages and on the order completion page automatically. You do not need to edit your design template.
  • Reading inventory (if you grant it) — used to tell whether out-of-stock items are holding sales back.

You do not need to type your shop URL. Which shop you connected is confirmed automatically after you grant access.

How to tell whether you can add the app yet

We are working through the Colorme Shop App Store listing. Whether you can add it right now is shown in the app — under “Manage sites → Settings”, pick “Colorme Shop” as the platform; if an [Add from the Colorme Shop App Store] link appears, you can add it from there.

If the link is not there, the listing is not live yet. The app cannot be added before the listing goes live, so order import starts after that. Tracking can start in the meantime: paste the tracking snippet shown in site settings into your shop’s design template (the shared HTML). Once you add the app after the listing, you can remove the pasted snippet (leaving it in place does not double-count).

Steps

From the Colorme Shop App Store

  1. Open NextRise Analytics in the Colorme Shop App Store and press Add.
  2. You are taken to NextRise Analytics. If you do not have an account yet, you can create one there.
  3. Choose which site the orders should be imported into, then press “Continue to Colorme Shop”.
  4. Colorme Shop’s permission screen opens. Review it and grant access.
  5. You land back on our screen as “connected”, and the last 90 days of orders are imported.

If you already use NextRise Analytics

  1. Open Site settings in NextRise Analytics.
  2. Choose “Colorme Shop” as the platform.
  3. Press Connect to Colorme Shop, then follow steps 4–5 above.

When the numbers appear

  • Traffic numbers start accumulating as soon as the tracking tag is installed.
  • Order numbers are fetched when an order-complete page is opened, so they usually appear right away. Anything missed is picked up by the daily import. While an import is pending, the “Today” strip shows revenue as ”—” with “Revenue is waiting for orders to import.” It never shows ¥0.

If you pasted the tracking tag by hand before

The tag you pasted by hand is no longer needed. You can remove it.

Your numbers will not double up — if two tags for the same site are present, the tracking tag itself counts only once. Still, leaving it in place makes it unclear which one is doing the work, so removing it is the safer choice.

The two places we used to ask you to paste it were:

  • Colorme Shop admin → Shop → Design → Design templates → Edit template → the shared [HTML/CSS]
  • Colorme Shop admin → Settings → Conversion tag

Look for lines containing nextriseanalytics.com. Whether you need to paste anything at all is shown by the [tracking code] field in NextRise Analytics site settings — shops where the tag goes in automatically do not have that field.

Pricing

If you added the app from the Colorme Shop App Store, billing is rolled into your Colorme Shop invoice. You do not pay us directly.

  • It is usage-based, on monthly sessions (summed across all your sites). There is no plan to pick.
  • There is no free trial on this route. Billing starts in the month you add the app.
  • We close each calendar month and bill the closed month once, the following month. The current month is never billed.
  • If you remove the app, the closed month is still billed the following month.

See Plans and session allowances for the amounts.

Removing the app

Removing the app from your Colorme Shop admin stops the order import and the tracking tag.

  • Imported orders and past numbers stay. Sign in to NextRise Analytics to keep viewing them.
  • The tracking tag installed on your shop is removed.

Things to know

  • The cart steps are not measurable. Colorme Shop’s cart pages expose nothing we can read, so the “begin checkout” step does not appear in the funnel (view → add to cart → purchase).
  • Order data is the source of truth for money. We do not send amounts from the order completion page — that number mixes tax, shipping and fees (When numbers don’t match).
  • We do not receive shoppers’ personal information. The completion page holds names, addresses and email addresses; NextRise Analytics does not read them (Tracking data and privacy).
  • Disconnecting keeps the imported orders and past numbers.
