Docs Set up tracking

Wix

Install the app on Wix and order import plus the tracking tag start automatically. No site code to edit.

Updated: Sep 4, 2026

How it works

On Wix, both of the following are handled by installing the app and choosing which site to connect it to.

  1. Order import — orders are read and used for revenue, average order value and per-product revenue. Cancelled and unapproved orders are not counted; refunds are deducted.
  2. Tracking tag — the tag is added to every page of your site, including the order-complete page. You never edit site code or header settings.

How to tell whether you can install it

The app tells you. Open “Sites → Settings”, choose “Wix” as the platform, and if the [Install on Wix] button is shown, you can install from there.

Steps

  1. In NextRise Analytics, add a site (platform “Wix”) and open its settings.
  2. Press [Install on Wix]. Wix’s install screen opens; review and allow.
  3. Back in NextRise Analytics you’ll see “Connect your Wix store”. Choose the site to import orders into and press [Connect to this site]. ⚠ Nothing is connected until you choose. If you have several sites registered, pick the one that corresponds to the Wix store.
  4. Site settings now show “Connected” and recent orders are imported.

⚠ The screen in step 3 expires after 10 minutes. If it expires, open the app again from your Wix dashboard (Apps → NextRise Analytics) and a new connection starts.

When numbers appear

  • Traffic starts accumulating right after the app is installed.
  • Orders are fetched when an order-complete page is opened, so they usually appear immediately. Anything missed is picked up by the daily import.

Pricing

Currently the same as signing up directly on the NextRise Analytics website (7-day free trial — see Plans and session allowances). Nothing is billed through Wix.

Removing the app

Removing the app from your Wix dashboard stops the tracking tag. Imported orders and past numbers remain. “Disconnect” inside NextRise Analytics alone does not stop tracking on Wix — remove the app on the Wix side if you want tracking to stop.

Good to know

  • Cookie consent is respected. A visitor who declines “analytics” in the consent banner is not tracked.
  • Per-product breakdown of partial refunds is approximate. The total is deducted correctly, but which product was refunded is allocated by each line’s share of the order.
  • We do not receive shoppers’ personal data (Tracking data and privacy).
  • Disconnecting keeps imported orders and past numbers.
